Incredible. A fitting way to end it, too.

***SNORE***

Hated the first one. It could have been a diverting enough short, but instead they padded it out to a feature. Fifteen minutes in I was bored out of my mind. Because of this, I never saw the second one, and I have less than zero interest in the third. Tim Allen and Tom Hanks voices are the icing on the "avoid at all costs" cake of Toy Story.

haha ^^ what?

neways, Toy Story 3 was amazing. It was full of beauty, intensity, fear, insecurity, failure, and (ultimately) completion.

It takes every aspect of life and focuses on each character with such intricate, careful study that one cannot help but actually FEEL for them. It amazes me how Pixar can make me care about a bunch of pixels more than most studios can make me even want to finish watching a movie filled with actual people.

Awesome ending. Wouldn't have changed a thing.

How was Jim Varney's replacement?

Sounded fine to me.

And this proves that Luke has bad taste in just about everything. :P

We're praying for him - although I will echo his disapproval of Hanks and Allen. Hanks never worked for me in this series... Allen - a little better, but surely there are better voice actors out there.

TS1 was fantastic in every possible way. Beautiful story that's brightly animated and surprisingly adult.

TS2 was superior to TS1, if a bit lagging in the middle. You know the story's going to end, but there's a tiny, short bit of hope there.

TS3.... I'll let you know. This weekend.

I was less then impressed. It was ok but nothing great. Even my seven year old was not impressed. When I took her to see How to Train Your Dragon she talked about it for weeks and pretended to be characters in the movie. On this one she has said nothing about the movie, but has spent a ton of time talking about the previews for Despicable Me, and Megamind.

I absolutely loved it! Ts1 was one of my favorite movies as a kid so I was really looking forward to this one, and it didn't fail to impress me. I thought it was a great ending to an already awesome series.

TS3 was a fantastic end to the series. The "Great Escape" references.... the Edward G. Robinson reference.... the toys - those marvelous toys. Ned Beatty's Lotso Huggin Bear is one of the great ones.

I did like the Cool Hand Luke reference.
